if you understand all those rules you can use any cad program that has the sweep profile to path command to make tube models. I don't remember all these guidelines off hand, but you can search them using the terms i provided. You also cannot bend more than 180 degrees from what I remember usually because it can get trapped in the machine or bump into itself. There are also mininum distances between bends without having to join two pieces together. Then you must how many D that tube minimum bend radius is. To do tubing design you need an understanding of what material you're using it's stock length thicknesses and interior or exterior diameter. There also is a little bit of work to layout bends etc for a manual bender that a CADCAM tool helps manufacturers with. CNC benders use some simple code to bend tubes. It's designed for fabricators who might not want a full CAD package that do a lot of tube bending and welding and also own a Bend Tech machine or tube bender themselves.
